I live in Hudson Wisconsin with my husband Mike and our two children. For much of the year I sell my work at juried art fairs, local galleries and accept commissions from individuals and businesses. I "Capture the fine art of photography". However, in 2011 I have taken a sabattical from art fairs as I am currently working on new portfolios of work.
My business is a member of the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce, also a member of the Chamber LEADS group and I serve as a board member, and a Hudson Hot Air Affair committee member. In 2011 I have been a participating artist in the What We Need Is Here Seminar at The Phipps Center for the Arts. I volunteer at my kids school, Hudson Soccer Association, and the Hudson Hockey Association. I have received numerous awards for my photography over the years in local art shows and art fairs. In March of 2011 my photos were published in Lets Play Hockey and September 2011 one of my hockey photos appeared on the cover. In June of 2010 my photograph was selected for the cover of the local Zip phone book directory. In September of 2010 I was interviewed for the Art program on channel 15 regarding my background in photography and current work. In September of 2009, I received Second place in the Spirit of the St. Croix Days in recognition of "outstanding creativity and artistic excellence". In 2007, I received Best of Show at the Art on the Kinni in River Falls, WI. My work has also been showcased at the Minnesota Musuem of American Art in St. Paul, MN., The Plains Museum in Fargo, North Dakota, and the Calumet Art Galley in San Francisco, California.
